Livestock graze parts of the walks – do not approach or try to feed them: keep dogs under close control, move round the herd and shut gates behind you.
Keep dogs closely controlled around grazing livestock, pass around herds and close gates. Stay on the waymarked trail; wet ground and deep pools are hazardous. Follow shooting notices September–February. Dog access concerns the named reserve outdoor walking routes, subject to current signs and temporary restrictions. Indoor facilities and neighbouring businesses are not included. Dog charges and dog-number limits are unconfirmed; parking charges are separate. The pin is approximate, derived from the owner published 100m OS grid square for visitor parking or trail access (SH 506 773). Use the owner directions because the postcode covers a broad area.

The National Trust’s Cotehele Circular Walk is approximately 2.72 km and takes around 75 minutes; it is the shorter green-arrow route, separate from the longer Bohetherick walk. Dogs must be kept on leads on the estate. Woodland paths can be muddy and include made and unmade surfaces; check current route/access notices. Parking is paid, free for National Trust members, with no overnight parking or camping. Contact the estate on 01579351346 or [email protected]. Do not rely on the trail page’s generic café description for current outlet opening status.

Crawick Multiverse welcomes dogs under control. Use leads when other visitors or dogs are nearby; off-lead exercise is permitted only with good recall and nobody else nearby. Clear waste and be mindful of sheep in neighbouring fields. Water bowls and a tap are outside The Coalface; its indoor dog access is unconfirmed. Site opening is seasonal, generally mid-March to early November, with specific October hours and possible event closures. A separately booked motorhome/campervan stopover also accepts dogs on leads outside vehicles, but excludes tents, caravans and tent boxes; it is not a tent campsite. Use the B740 visitor entrance, not the charitys town-office address.

Dog walking is welcomed in this individually identified Forestry England outdoor site under the forest dog code. Keep dogs close and in sight; use a lead when recall is unreliable, prevent chasing people or animals, clean up waste and follow local wildlife, forestry-work and safety signs. Temporary restrictions can change available routes. Indoor buildings, concession cafés, campsites and event admission are not covered by this outdoor permission. Parking charges are separate from dog admission; dog fees and dog-number limits are not established. The mapped point is the owner published visitor-location point, not an independently confirmed entrance.
