Alderford Lake

Parks · Whitchurch

Dogs: yes · Indoors: yes

Dog access conditions

Well-behaved dogs are welcome on ordinary lake visits. Keep them on leads unless they have good recall; the owner permits dogs to swim in the lake under that control condition and asks that they stay away from other lake users. Dogs must always be on leads in the café. Ordinary dogs are excluded from the islands; assistance-dog arrangements are separate. Normal daily visitor/café hours are9am–4:30pm, last lake entry4pm, and café hot food ends3:30pm; late-event or seasonal hours may differ. Confirm entry/dog charges and dog numbers before visiting. This permission covers day visits and the onsite café; it does not establish dog stays in camping units or hired accommodation. The retained mapped lake/site marker is approximate, not a confirmed entrance.
