Leith Hill

Attractions · England

Dogs: yes · Indoors: unknown

Dog access conditions

Well-behaved dogs are welcome on the Leith Hill estate. Leads are required around grazing livestock and inside fenced areas during the ground-nesting bird season, 1 March to 31 July. Follow local notices and stay in control. This mapped hill/summit listing does not promise entry into Leith Hill Tower or the independently operated tower kiosk. The separate house Leith Hill Place has its own dog access and opening calendar. The original summit marker is retained; the RH5 6LU owner contact postcode is over a kilometre away and is not substituted as the summit or a car-park entrance. Use the owner directions and select the intended walking route and car park; paths can be steep and stepped. No overnight parking or camping. The owner currently states that Leith Hill Tower and Leith Hill Place are closed until spring 2027; this addition covers the outdoor estate rather than those closed interiors.
