Seasonal and area restrictions
Arlington Court Gardens, Estate and Carriage Museum
Dogs on leads are welcome in Arlington Court gardens, on the wider estate, in the National Trust Carriage Museum and in the servants hall/additional indoor seating next to the tea-room. Ordinary dogs cannot enter the main house or Old Kitchen Tea-room. Indoor permission is limited to those named permitted areas. Keep dogs in sight and under control on estate trails and follow wildlife, livestock and nesting-season notices. Confirm current opening and admission; nearby holiday cottages and mapped individual walks have their own scope and are not granted accommodation permission. During the bird-nesting season, 15 February to 30 June, keep dogs on leads or close at heel in nesting areas and use main paths. Always use short leads where sheep are present; take extra care during lambing, typically February to April.
