The council tourism guide dated 24 April 2025 expressly describes dogs inside the café and on its outdoor terrace; the current own branch continues to list dog-friendly facilities. Keep dogs on leads, off furniture and considerate of other guests. The Glass Works centre code excludes pet dogs from its car park, boulevard and Barnsley Indoor Market, apart from guide/support dogs. Use a permitted direct café entrance from the public high-street side and confirm the approach and table with Falco before travelling; this café permission does not extend to those centre areas or the adjoining library.
