Seasonal and area restrictions
The Sill: National Landscape Discovery Centre
The Sill welcomes ordinary dogs in its designated outdoor spaces, with water bowls at the main entrance and kiosk. Ordinary dogs cannot enter the building or Whin Grassland roof, whose protected planting and soil require special care. Trained assistance dogs are welcomed separately inside. Confirm outdoor dog counts, leads, supervision and event arrangements. This outdoor visit permission does not establish ordinary-dog entry to its cafe, indoor exhibitions or hostel accommodation.
